I have a waist 32 and got size medium great fit. Really nice package for starting out. Only thing is if you can afford it I would bo with the big air package with the quick release. With the quick release there is no forgetting to double back. And for the price the Momentum package is the best to start out with...

30 in waist, small is good fit This is a comfortable, good looking harness. I got the package deal and the chalk bag was orange and pink dots. The color of the harness was slate instead of black with different gear loops. I also got an orange carabiner and red belay device. It doesn't make a lick of difference to me though. Everything works and I have no complaints. If you wear above size 30 pants you may want to go to medium.
